A plot neighbour gave me some courgette seeds.  I sowed a couple but didn't have any space to plant them out until the 10th July.  I didn't know that they were a trailing variety until they started trailing round the brassicas, through the rhubarb and on their merry way.........  I've been cropping the courgettes from the main part of the plant I could get to.  A couple of weeks ago when the plant started dying back, I found this monster lurking underneath the rhubarb.  I can hardly lift it and it definitely won't be going home on the bike!

Looks like you'll have to take it home slice at a time ;D ;D

I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

I think you have it bronzed, give it a name and use it as a doorstop..XX Jeannine

PS..maybe spray it orange and pass it off as a rare pumpkin, it would look good with a face carved on it!!
When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

Bronze door stop ....... I like that idea, except knowing me it would be a permanent trip hazard perfect for the breaking of toes!

I have no idea what to do with that much marrow.  The freezers are full to bursting so it will have to be cake, jam and chutney I think.
