Just thought I would share this idea....

Last year I wanted to do something different for Mother-In-Law (who seems to have everything)  ::)

I bought a large square tupperware style container from one of those cheapie shops. Shredded last years argos catalogue (colourful) and filled the box with goodies I know she would like....

Biscuits for cheese
Jam and marmalade
Box of tea bags
Small Christmas pudding
Home made muffins
Home made fudge
Half bottle of wine
A little boxed set of notelets and envelopes (Bastins)
Packets of sweets
Packets of seeds
And other things I cannot remember.

This year I will be doing the same as M-I-L was delighted with her own *Hamper*  ;D

all our 'stocking fillers are usually about 1.00..slipper socks, fluffy gloves for walks, I filled a cracker for everyone last year, individually picked gifts, trolley tokens, nail polish, small torches, even found some gloves to fit for my m-i-l, everyone got a hat, motto(they came with the kit), small chocolates..it seemed to go down well, I'm doing handbag charms for the girlies this year  ;D
p.s where did the other half of the bottle of wine go ?  ;D

I have done similar for new babies, a box filled with talc, cream, milton etc etc. They go down very well indeed.

I hadn't actually thought of that for xmas though, brilliant
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

one of our son in law's presents this year is a string of dried chillies, I've got them hanging up now  ;D

I forgot to mention M-I-L uses the plastic container for her cake baking ingredients etc.

I've also done one the same too for a baby gift.  ;D
