  Hi mark45,

I've just put in some broad bean seeds , and sown some winter spinach - have a look
through the racks of seed packets and see what is for autumn sowing,  also , bit of advice
   - if you have cleared ground that you are not going to use until Spring,  then cover with
permiable membrane [ lets the rain in ] or plastic ground cover, cardboard  - all sorts of
reasons why you need to keep the weeds at bay. !

You could hunt for some spring green plants,  in most garden centers - but you may be a bit late for
them , also look for some green compost seeds  --  you sow these now then dig them back into the
     ground when mature.

     Have fun and good luck,

If you have gt some space that you won't be using over the winter sow some Hungarian Grazing Rye (grass) and then dig it in next spring. It's really good compost for the soil and cheaper than buying bags of it.

I think that you have done well!
I can't think of any plants at this time of year (depending where you live of course).
As for me, I've dropped a big self seeded ashtree on the allotment site, with permission, as it was a weed (female) which will give me fuel for 2 years. I've been offered as much rotted horse manure as I can collect, which I have started today. Blowing a trumpet I know, but I am one happy tired bunny.
Keep up with the good work Mark!
