The first question is when did you plant them.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

Perhaps you are not putting them firm enough in the ground.

we used blood, fish and bone on the advice of Eric. Our sprouts, red ones that we've never had much luck with, are very tall with lots of sprouts on  ;D
it also worked on our cabbages and calabrese

Almost all my seeds come from Kings seeds and the majority do well.  I sowed Maximus and Bedford Fillbasket from Kings Seeds.  Have huge plants with loads on,  same last year too.  I sow as per the packet instructions,  and put a little lime and fresh compost in the hole when transplanting.  Then firm the surrounding ground.  Never had any problems with them.  The odd one has blown this year but usually they are hassle free.  I will be sticking with the same variety next year too.

All you do and all you see is all your life will ever be

i covered em with green builders rubble netting to keep bird off  this could have reduced the sunlight

I always have problems with the red ones -but green ones (this year Diablo F1 and bedford Filbasket from a seed swap ont his site) do fine. I think sprouts are tolerant of lower light levels and mine are shaded by trees - so shouldn't be a problem.

I think Revenge are a mid season to late variety (so would be 7 months from planting out to maturity) so prehaps they are still a little early to be showing sprouts??? Not an expert in this area i admit - but starting to learn a little bit from the chaps at the lottie.
