Leek growing

My Musselborough leeks I put in early august aren't very big, will they continue growing into feb/march?

They should continue to grow until we get cold winter temperatures.  There is still plenty of time for them to swell.  Mine were transplanted end of April and seem to be doing ok at the moment.

I transplanted mine in July and they look awful.

one lot of mine are quite respectable, but the second lot put in a week or so later are only pencil thick.  Could I feed them to try and encourage them a bit?
