OK, everybody who wants to play should have had a PM by now, if you haven't something bad has happened with my system!  Please forgive me and PM me your address if I have somehow missed you.

This is also the last call for anybody else wanting to take part, just send me your details and I will add you to the list.

I will let you know when we are ready for the off.  I am going to make life easy for everybody and print address lables with each address on it, then all we need to do is stick this on the envolope and bung it in the post box again.  I think this will also make it a bit safer, in these times of worry about identity theft.

I hope this is OK with everybody.

Well I don't want to step on Helen's toes (it's her parcel after all) but I think it's pretty much up to you.  I have more seed packets to put in than I could possibly want to take out but others will need more than they can put in so it all balances out.  I've only done one before but my impression was the parcel ends up larger than it started which is great because the originator gets some nice surprises in return for their hard work.   :)

Not treading on my toes Georgie :-)

Thats about it, take out what you want put in what you want, I don't think anybody will take the pi** !!

When the parcel gets home to me, I will take what I want, give a bit to my friend who put some in before it left home and then give whats left to the local primary school, they have just started their own allotment and I am sure they can use anything they are given.

I think everybody should get ready for some postman mugging!

Is it OK to take a Small amount from some of the packets that have a lot in them and put them back in the swap ??? what I mean if the is say a packet of sprouts and there is 500 seeds in it ( I have some with 2000 ) an well that is far to many is it OK to take out 50 or so and return the rest in there original packet back in to the swap ??? I will be adding to the swap as well

Tinkie_Bear

Of course it is alright Trinity, some packets have more seeds than I will use in a lifetime so I know where you are coming from.  They don't have to be full packets or shop brought seeds, part packets and home saved seeds are perfectly fine too.

By the time the parcel gets to you and you have a look at whats there you will get a better idea!

Enjoy x

Georgie

Oh joy of joys I received the parcel this morning!   ;D

Helen you have gone to so much trouble and there is a great selection in there.  Thank you so much.   :)

I've had a good rummage and have selected what I know I can use.  I've popped my seeds in and will go to the Post Office later.  The parcel will be going to The Netherlands next.

Hi

If you have any remnants, may I please have some??  thank you  :D

Tinkie_Bear

Anything that I can't use when it eventually gets home will be going to the local primary school as they have just started their own allotment, if there is anything in there that they don't want I am sure we can pass them on.

Marian

I would love to join too, if that is possible? ??? ;D ;D ;)

Tinkie_Bear

Sorry but this one has already left.  I am sure there will be more seed swops over the winter though.
