These got away from me by growing up into an azalea. Supposed to be best eaten at 10 inches.
I don't know Italian but the middle word in its name looks a little like "rampaging" which is
accurate!

Rampicante means it is a climber.
They are still edible at 3' long even if they don't look much like little trumpets anymore.

It grew through a fence and into a 6 foot high azalea. Since my bee sting  scary allergic reaction I don't plow into the underbrush the way I used to so much of the garden rampages at will. There is a bushel gourd no running berserk over the tops of bush hollies in back of the pond where it will continue leaping until frost!
