I was very surprised by how prickly it was though  :o  :D

I picked my first three outdoor cucumbers yesterday,  (I peel them as they are prickly).  I am really pleased as in 2006 i had a bumper crop and last year i got none as it was so wet and horrible....all three were eaten within an hour!...they were lovely!

It's what having an allotment is all about!
