Radish do taste good

I've come home from the lotty with my first radish and some  small lettuce leaves, I have done a Radish taste test compared to some from Tesco and mine do taste better ;)

My daughter said that about our first radish.  She said they have taste lol.

My first year growing crops, she is appreciating it now...she's the only one that eats them :)

The first radishes of the season were consumed with due ceremony and an aperitif last night.  Just the right degree of hotness. Delectable!

can I recommend the Polish "Zlata" radishes from Franchi. They grow so quickly, we're on our third lot.
Like a lot of things from Franchi they're not quite the same colour as on the packet though

I'm just about to consume my radish and lettuce leaves along with some local Melton Mowbray pork pie and for afters a couple of slices of local Stilton on crackers :)

Cool, I've sown some but not harvested yet... I got them from Alan Romans... we're a bit bored of sparkler & brekkie!

I have grown radish in a fish box this year in my garden at home.  We have not officially harvested any yet, though I  pick one everytime I go to the greenhouse ;) ;D ;)

My dad just can't have enough radishes. I think it's something to do with the War.  :D
