Greenfly on Strawberry plants

I have 2 hanging baskets with strawberry plants and one of them has greenfly - found them today, squished a lot of them....but can anyone tell me the ration of washing up liquid to water to squirt them? thanks.

You only use a couple of drops of washing up liquid in a gallon of water. Too much washing up liquid can damage or even kill your plants.
If you have one of those pump action sprayers then you can just use plain water to knock them off instead.

Mine had greenfly too, I squirted them with a washing up diluted spray, but I noticed the hoverflies have been very busy laying eggs at the beginning of the week so they can finish the job.
