TrailRat

I got off the phone this afternoon from an old friend who I hadn't spoken to in five years. We caught up on old times and we reminicist <sic> about our antics at school. The whole time he called me by my nickname that he had for me. Didn't bother me, but I had a few nicknames at school which I didn't like. Thought I'd share and find out your pet aliases from your life.

My main alias nowadays is TrailRat which I got from my mate because I ride dirty and low on the trails. This is also where I got my motto from, which is underneath the Penfold picture.

Never had one at my first primary school but at the second primary school I got called Joe after "Joe 90". Didn't mind it, would have loved to learn by sitting in a spinning disco ball. ;D I also earned Penfold in the last few months which spread to the first secondary school I went to.
When I got booted from that school I left the nick behind and earned the name Freak at my second secondary school, this I loved because I got me a sense of uniqueness and an image which inspired and weirded people out a bit too. Took the name Freak right through to the GCSE's. But now I'm happy to go by as TrailRat or Ratty for short.

So spill, whats your aliases or pet names that was given to you? Did you like them or loath them?

Sorry if this in the wrong place didn't know where to put it.

He-he - any other supply teachers here?

Nicknames change from school to school, haircut to haircut, pimple to pimple.

My last place?  I LIKED being called Hagrid, and Dr Ecowarrior!  There are a couple of others, which I won't be sharing :) ???

All best - Gavin

Mrs Ava

I had one nickname that I loathed at school and am soooo not going to share!  At work I earned the name Zsa Zsa, after Ms Gabor as I have always been a bit of a temptress with lashings of bleach blonde hair, lots of makeup and a rather revealing dress sense.  Since motherhood crept along I have toned things down a bit...well....okay, so I just wear less makeup now, everything else is the same!  Other than that, only variations of my own name, so Emmsie, Emmy, Em, EJ, etc.  Exciting huh.

Nobbyman

Ah go on EJ!! What was your nicknames at school!!

Mrs Ava

Nope, it really was tooo horrible to mention and actually makes me feel sick thinking back to the 4 sh its that started it!  All I can say is, I am very very very different now to how I was then, physically, mentally and emotionally!  Ooooo, makes me sound all interesting for all of....5 seconds!  :P

Nobbyman

O.k I will not ask anymore as a new member I don't want to upset anyone!!  :P

I was known as `Bugs` at school but mostly I am just `Steph`. There was this little toad at Uni who called me Steve but I didn`t have the heart to re-arrange his face ;)

I've had at least 4. 'Krupps' - because I always carried my own choice of weapon. 'Lightning' - because I was so quick (??) to react to my father's demands - etc.

The longest living one is 'Tim' - or Timothy, as it was in 1920. Before I was born. That's not one of my 3 given names!! = Tim
