holiday time

Just my luck it is going to be freezing this weekend. I usually go to warmer climes for my breaks but after being talked into getting a caravan by the OH I shall be just trundling around  England. Still I've always said. 'There is no such thing as the wrong weather, it's the wrong clothes that spoils things'.

First stop will be the New Forest, we always drive through it to get somewhere never stopping. So about time we had a look around.  Next will be Wincanton which looks nice and is very handy for OH to get a bit of retail therapy in Street which I understand is now a village full of cut-price outlets. Plus I alway get my workboots from the Clarks factory shop which is also there. We shall also be near Shaftsbury, so she can have her photo taken clambering up the 'hovis hill' while I wait at the top.

Where next, ?  Oh yes over to Tiverton to do a bit of family visiting. Then on up to the Baltic Wharf in Bristol for a few days to have a look at all the historic bits. Finally we will be meeting some friends at Moreton-in-Marsh and having a few drinkies in the evening on the campsite. (should be warmer by then).

This is just a warning to all the lottie folk in the above areas, Van+caravan= slow, so replan your route. You have been warned!
