I sowed 6 Gypsy Pepper on March 7th in a heated propagator in my conservatory. Everything else sown on this date is showing (Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Lettuce). Will they be lost. I know its only 2 weeks but in a heated propagator........ ???

I had problems with one of my chillies as well - the Peach Habanero - had to sow them twice and still have only one pathetic little seedling, and that took about two weeks as well. Everything else- the toms other peppers and chillies are all romping away!

Biscombe

Leave them, peppers take longer!

I had the same thing with my Gypsy Peppers. I left them 5 weeks and then gave in!

OK then. I will leave them another 2 weeks and if I still have no joy then get in touch with T&M who supplied them.

all my chilies started off in the green house after three weeks and nothing happening brought all in to the house.
all came up with in two weeks.

im also growing peach herbrano have you grown them before if so what are they like?

as with the peppers put them next to a radiator they would soon come up.

Same problem here with Gypsy, but my King of the North came up in 20 days.

I'm keeping a note of germination times this year, most of my peppers were up in 10-15 days, beat the chillies by at least a week. Gypsy was quicker than Cherry Bombs! I kept them all in the cupboard above the boiler for 14 days, then moved those that hadn't germinated into the heated propagator...the stragglers are now coming up in dribs and drabs.

I'm still waiting for the Tabasco's...will try resowing I think.
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Looking back, Peppers are funny - anything between 7 days & 40!!

Tin Shed

Haven't tried the Peach Habanero before - but looking at the only seedling I'm not sure that I am going to have much luck!!

I grew Gypsy on the surfact of moist compost, rather than covering them, and they all germinated well.  Nothing at all when I put compost over them.  Weird ???

I'm with Tim on this one, plus the age of the seed can have an affect as well.
