A few good gardeners, with equipment, to assist one newbie in the deforestation of plot. Equipment required rake, fork, scythe, sickle, spade etc. Payment: A drink down the local. When required next sunday, time 12 noon. Location: Enfield Playing Fields, Carterhatch Road, Enfield, North London.

I am very serious about this as I (me and my fiancee that is) have just spent 6 hours pulling and raking weeds and more just seem to be underneath, found a patch of soil the size of a teatowel. ;D Still trying to dig up the borders that define my plot and the soil is so uneven on my plot it makes Everest look flat  ;D OK slight understatment. Also found out my neighbour used to use the plot as a dumping ground for all his cast of vegetation and soil >:(. This will stop. So come one, come all to the fun day out for all the family.

 now this will be an interesting thread to watch....
i reckon there will be loads of (viewed ) but not so many replys... however TR if u and ur better half do get some volunteers maybe u could set up a little webby cammy so we can see  ;D
....alas i live far away ::) however if u were to provide flight and B&B maybe ...just maybe...
....naaaaa maybe not ;D .

Let me get this straight, Trailrat.
You've "cleared" the site and found one patch of soil the size of a tea towel. Your garden design is simple: plant a piece of mint in your one piece of soil and it will soon cover your entire garden. ;D
Garden consultancy fee (payable within 10 days, else interest charged at 10% per month): £200.

Ahhhhhh poor consultant never read the brief, I never said I have cleared the site. Just a small section of it the size of a teatowel. Fee waived.
