Deleting a message

I have just been reading about how to do this but cannot find the
DELETE button.  Where is it?

Look to the bottom right hand corner of the message you just typed and it should be there.........I think  :-\

It is at the top, but it only stays there for a short while, I just typed a message which showed on the thread, the delete button was visible, I hit it and the message disappeared, it is like the modify one,  the chance is only there for a while..try it and see , If you look at a new post it shows delets and modify, then look at an older one and it is goneXX Jeannine

Top right alongside quote which doesn't dissapear

You can delete after another message has been put on, my delete button is still showing after the message I left ealier but it is only visible to the poster
