Been out in the garden all morning.  Drinking a much needed cuppa before I head out again.

Moving plants, digging... Noticed 1000's of earthworms crawling about as I did.. I guess this is a good sign right??.

My cold greenhouse is steady at 20 degrees.

The sun is shining then warm showers for about 10 minutes.

My wellies are dirty, my nails are grimy and I am in heaven.

And which put the biggest grin on my face.. I have my first veg from seed ever in my life... 2 juicy radishes :D :D :D :D :D  I know its sad, but cant help myself :D :D

Blimey, it ain't spring here in West Essex.  Very strong winds, rain coming down in sheets and very chilly.  Grrrrr

Looking at the 10 day forecast for around here [Gainsborough, Lincs] it should be all systems go from next Wednesday onwards. Until then it's wet and cold I'm afraid.

Yep, cold & wet here, too. :(

Been dry here except for few spots, spent hour in greenhouse but too cold for the garden (I am a fair weather addict)

Very overcast here in Wharfedale - and a bit of drizzle to complete the picture - a lot milder than yesterday but with no sun it feels damp and horrid!

Plants in the greenhouse are coming on but not thinking of planting much outside yet. Daffs are bravely standing up to it all but its a night in front of the fire for me!

Wet and cool now, but very mild today even after the hailstone downpour. Manured my tatties and moved strawbs. Prepared parsnip bed
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Read your post and it put a smile on my face, how did you have your radishes? Yes it was a fantastic day in the garden, yesterday sadly it's pouring hard today and by the looks of it through to tuesday for us. So time to start more seeds off.

Not as sad as sharing your very first chicken egg between 6 of you.

Tony.

Sow it, grow it, eat it.
