Nice steady rain here.  We really need it again.  Soil very dry.   Hoping it will clear by lunch time.  By my calculations it will clear Weston in an hour or so.

Started raining here just after i watered the garden at the moment i have an upturned bin lid which i can see and its full to the brim with water. Fine drizzle now but still falling...

A few Sunny spells in the morning as I sat in the garden, then light showers that turned into torrential rain, thunder and lightening.    ::)

Then the light rain joined in again.

Still raining - most of July has been miserable and wet, tomatoes not ripening and starting to get mildews on the squash (like last year! where we also had a terrible July) and cannot treat as it just rains off it  :'( :'(
The only things that seem to like it are the cabbages and beetroot. I did get a couple of dry spells to harvest the alliums though so always a silver lining...
