Ordered some, too.  A bit strange, as I decided to order some other plants/seeds too as the "free" offer covered to cost of the p&p.  When I went to the check out, an additional £3.95 was added to the bill.  So deleted chargeable items and just went with the free offer.

morton

Thanks for that MO the OH had to have some to add to her collection.

In J. Parkers you could get 6 fuchsias and 10 echinaceas for £6.90  (just add the fuchsias to your baskets from the special offers, the echinaceas are free)

Just wanted to comment about giant fuschias.  I had a few and at the beginning I thought how wonderful they were but have now gone off them as they drop off the plant due to their weight. Does anyone agree?

A pal who is a member of the fuschia society told me that the basket that won every year was always one containing the beautiful small fuschias.

I Show Fuchsia's and can concur with Floraldi that at the shows it's mainly the singles that win in the basket classes. They tend to have tighter foliage
and a profusion of blooms, where as the big doubles have a more loser foliage and tend not to carry that many blooms.
And please I'm not trying to put you off buying them, as looking at what they are offering, it's a good little collection.
