... I decided it was time to take charge of the situation  ;D

For years my SIL did this by making a long list of things she would like and woe betide anyone who deviated and bought something else!! and I always thought she was just being cheeky, but now I see the logic in it!  I have more of those 'camping' cups that have a plastic lid and keep your tea warm for longer than I need cos everyone thought it would be a good idea!  ???

I didn't rearly get myself a christmas present this year (waiting in argos for my present doesn't rearly count) but I did take a chance and got one of the books from my Christmas list when I saw it in the charity shop for 50p - nobody got me any of the books on my list so I was OK.  I am going to get myself a birthday present though, in fact I am going to get myself plenty of birthday presents as I am going to a monster craft show and intend to spoil myself rotten :-)

We keep our visits to just once a year as it's usually so awful. The time before last we didn't even buy anything  ???, but came away with lots of wood from their 'help yourself' skip outside the pick up area  :o
