Strawberries

Hi,

I have recently acquired an allotment - hurray! - and am in the process of preparing it for next year.  A certain well known auction site is selling 25 strawberry plants for £7.00, which sounds quite a good deal.  If I was to buy them now, can I plant them out or should I pot them up?  I only have an unheated greenhouse.
Or, should I wait until a more appropriate time of year and stop being impatient ???

They can be planted anytime now if the weather is a bit milder and the ground isn't frozen.
