Grandma

There's just one leaf left on my little sycamore tree......

..... but just look at that fat, green bud!

Can spring be too far away?  :) :) :)

I agree, I took a piccie of a blackberry in flower today, but dont know how to get photo from my phone to puta yet.

Poor everything.....gotta get used to the new seasons I guess :-\
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

but I think it has always been like that, nothing is still, always moving forward - as soon as a leaf drops there will be a bud behind it in waiting - beautiful  :)

You certainly have a great eye for a good photo, G'ma.
Nice one.
Ken.

Grandma

Thank you, Ken -  that means such a lot! For a variety of reasons I only get out about 3-4 times a month so most of my pics have to be taken in my house or garden! Thank you!  :o

Me thinks a 'Crazy Gran' photo club might be an idea....Pic's from G'parents?    ;)

Grandma

That's a lovely idea, Ken! And not just for pics - it could be a real 'Grandparents' Grotto' for all the stuff grandparents - (with all their experience and life skills! ;)) - would like to share!

As a small example, some months ago, a lovely A4A member mentioned that her new grandchild had arrived alarmingly early. I thought that telling her of my own, very similar experience woud cheer her up but didn't like to post such a personal story on the Forum, so ended up sending a pm.  But I think it might have interested - (and maybe helped?) - some other peeps.

And we're not just about the grandchildren!!! G'parents come in both genders and are aged anywhere from forties upwards -  so we do have a life and get up to a lot of other things as well!

With a dedicated thread - or section(?) -  the bright, young things - (with g'parenthood a long way away) - could drop in and join us if they chose or give us a wide berth and leave us to have fun by ourselves!

Any thoughts from other g'parents?

aw, can i adopt a grandparent please?
i only knew my nan briefly and lost her when i was little, so i have never really known the joys of having a grandparent :-[
make the new section then i can pretend ;D
'blood sweat and tears really don't matter, just the things that you do in this garden'
