Crazy indeed, a lovely mild day with the sun coming out in the afternoon, then started spitting about 2.30, stopped and started and then getting worse, by 4 o clock it was like a storm with terainchal rain and strong winds, then stopped after half an hour, alls quiet in the garden as I type but as I look at the tele Great Yarmouth are sandbagging getting ready for potenial floods.  ??? :'(  Be careful out there peeps.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Same here Kev, been working in daughters tiny garden all day and at 4ish it was like someone had switched the lights off, and within seconds I was like a drowned rat >:( I was so wet it wasn't worth worrying about it so I carried on till I finished ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

I am in briminham at the moment and we got a very heavy but short lived rain shower followed by the temp dropping. Hubbie down in cambridge has told me that the weather is extreamly poor heavy rain and high winds. If cambridge floods were higher up so were going to be ok. But i have a bad feeling about this.

tidal wave threatened on the east coast - time will tell if the science is good or over cautious due to past mistakes - well wishes to east coasters  :)

theres rioting on the streets with people paniking, it was breaking news on the bbc but not seen anything on news since.

Hopefully its not going to be so bad.

Huge downpour in W Sussex about the same time too - couldn't see the other buildings across the road from the office window
If I ever get it all right - then that's the time to quit.

The possibility of flooding has been talked about on French television this morning- how is everybody this morning in the south east UK - and the Netherlands, also likely to be hit apparently?    I hope you are all ok.

manicscousers

keeping everything crossed for you guys, and yesterday with the gales in scotland, everyone ok ?  :)

The forecast for the Netherlands was almost the same as for the UK: storms, flooding and tidal waves.
But I have been watching BBC and I think you were hit harder then we were. The coast had some heavy storms, one of the ferries in the province of Sealand stopped its services and the islands in the North were flooded and hit by heavy wind and rain.
Luckily no one had to be evacuated and about an hour ago the warnings for d**e breakthroughs have been withdrawn.

At the moment the wind is strong (centre of the country) and there is some rain and hail, but it is average autumn weather.

You be careful.
