I've a lovely plant growin over and under an arch, loads of squash, but only as big as golf balls, except for a couple as big as tennis balls.  I expected better :-\

Is it worth picking and trying to cook the baby ones or to compost the lot?

What went wrong, was it the weather?  I planted it just as instructed into loads of compost.

Blame it on the weather - I had one plant and got just one tennis ball size fruit.  I think I would pick them now and use them up over the next few weeks. They'll probably keep that long, though if they are really small you'll probably be able to use them all in one go!
