Hi Emma.  Remember the three little Pulmonaria cuttings you sent me earlier this year?  Well I lost two, but look at this beauty which is in a 12" pot.  Thank you so much   ;D  G x

Oh wow Georgie, that looks lush!  If you want anymore, I owe you for all the different seeds you have sent me in the past so give me a shout.  You wait until spring when they start flowering.  Mine get mildew directly after flowering so I cut them back hard and get a flush of lovely new growth within days.  Like hairy hostas!  ;D

rosebud

Hi Emma, over the weekend i shall put a photo on of the Cardoon you sent me we almost lost it 3 times but its a fighter.

You don't owe me anything, you're always sending me bits and bobs.   ;D  Thanks for the tip about cutting back after flowering, mine are bound to get mildew too.   :(

They're lovely 8) I like their common name of 'Soldiers and Sailors' - the pink and blue of the flowers. If anyone would like any more  of these variagated leaved pulmonarias, give me a shout..I've got them everywhere in my garden - nice leaf in the summer and a welcome bit of colour in spring :)

Emagggie

Yes Please Lish, mine have disappeared for the second time and I just love them in the spring. Will pm you in hope. ;D

For the Hardy Plant Society Conservation scheme I am growing Pulmonaria rubra 'Rachel Verme'. Leaves have a white/cream edge and the flowers are orange. Nice plant but I wish it was more vigorous, it grew well last year but hardly survived this year.
