I propose the introduction of three new laws:

1. when the temperature goes over 24 degrees C, all office workers should be supplied with free ice cream.

2. when the temperature goes over 28 degrees C, all office workers should be sent home for the rest of the day.

3. (My favourite) All gardeners should be given April to September (inclusive) off paid every year.

What do you think?

(Or maybe it's just the heat getting to me. Or the 3.5 litres of water I've drunk so far today have washed away my remaining brain cell!)
