Take him out to dinner Emaggie, upset the waiter, and after he's finished his meal tell him what they do to the food of a customer who upsets them.  He'll never complain about your cooking again.
Well Cazy I did just that!. BW came home early 'cos he needed  (not wanted) to go to Ikea. Just as we were going out, daughter arrives with her 5 week old daughter. After lots of Grandfatherly squashing and kissing we left at 5pm. Got to A13 to find it was closed at our turn off ahead and no exit before Brentwood (or somewhere). At that exit 2 hours later he decided it wasn't worth going on so we sped homewards.Called in at our local equivalent of a Slug and Iettuce and we were served up the biggest load of inedible garbage we've seen in years. How can you mess up caesar salad for goodness sake? Feel decidedly sick now, may have to have a medicinal Sloe Gin or something similar. :-\
Smile, it confuses people.

QuoteStill don't know if it was the worm or the holiday in Bulgaria that caused the end. She was a nice girl too.

Next time my son says to me 'I really want to finish with her but I don't know the best way to do it'.  I can tell him not to worry I'll sort it.  Think I'll skip the Bugaria bit though, bit short of cash at the moment.  ;D

Perfect example of an entertaining thread 90% of which is completely off topic.  :)

Back to the thread!  Although I don't really relish eating slugs & worms & earwigs [had loads on lettuce this year] I do like the fact that they are alive & well.  Wonder why we NEVER see them on supermarket produce - even organic. Nuff said.  :)
