Food From Your Garden - It's a Readers Digest from 1977. My grandparents gave it to me when I got the lottie. It's a bit of a tome so I've only just started looking at it but it is fantastic! Covers everything. The only down side is the pests section recommends blasting everything with chemicals but hey, now we know better.
One to look out for in charity shops.  ;D

I hope it's  as good as you say it is as I "won" it on ebay last night.

I got one at Christmas fom my OH ,we now play see who can find the nicest cheapest pressie! He won hands down as it was only 59p from the charity shop!
And it is a good read if you ignore the chemical bit, bit big to read in the bath though I have discovered! :-\ ;D
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

I've had this for years.  It's a mine of information, especially in the back sections which include masses of stuff on things like preserving, wild food, keeping chickens, beekeeping .... all sorts.

I have a well used and travelled original...

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I got this for christmas last year. My OH had seen it in a charity shop and thought it ideal for me, and he was right.  :) busy_lizzie

My dad has this book and was happy to sing it's praises, I wonder if he will let me 'borrow' it  ::)
Whatever it was I didn't do it but if I should have done then I have!
