Thanks Barnowl yes you are right I kinda forgot there was a huge internet world out there besides our A4A site  ::) So silly! Not sure how to ask Dan to delete. And the PM thingy?????

I'm in the South Road site in Bracknell, Berkshire. It's by Downshire Golf Course and is just about to get it's first membership to the allotment association giving us some more powers :) Only took 30 years ;)

Sunny Sutton. I am a total newbie. Managed to barter at Woolworths for a dead plant that was guaranteed to grow. I am waiting to see if the "weeds" in the pot turn into anything interesting!

Hi all - new member here.  Hope I'm okay to join here - I'm not on an allotment but thoroughly enjoy my rather good sized vege garden that I have out back of the house.  I've been a member of another forum for a while, and was very good but now being overrun by one poster with what must be mush for brains - a bit of a p*sstwat me thinks :)  So looking for somewhere else that can be helpful where we can exchange information on our gardens/allotments.  We're in Kent by Dartford - and while there are a few allotment areas around us - I hope my back garden interests will be welcomed here :)
