Good for field hospitals then, Emma?

Yes - Tanqueray bog standard is great, but some folk take pure strength (43+ or 47+) as being better because it is stronger on the tongue.

Yes - proof is important because it holds the aromatics better, but because it's stronger, it can be diluted without losing too much quality.

Yes - lime is great! Especially the zest.

Millers westbourne strength is 45.2 and only £24 a bottle + 20p for a lime, I reckon that's a cheap evenings entertainment.

I really like Hendricks but my absolute favourite is James English Gin - but for some unknown reason I can only ever find it in duty free shops at the airport - so have to wait for someone to go on a trip and beg them to buy me a bottle!

I also re-use Tanqueray 10 bottle(s) for sweet peas,very 'designer'.
