They used to be all over the Thames when i was a kid. Apparently they're staging something of a comeback as otters increase and knock off the mink.

I loved the picture of the birds and wished I could do photos like that. Just wanted to say that the BBC might be interested in that one. I'm sure they were asking for wildlife photos recently.  Have a look at their site.

The best I can manage is a blurred heads-cut-off type of snap!

I recently referred to some pics that I had taken of the construction at work as snaps...  I work on a police forensics training facility and the police photographers heard me. They take such pride in their own work that they nearly ran me out of the building!  LOL
