OMG they look good!  I was trying to think of something yummy to serve as pud on Saturday after the birthday BBQ.  I could poach some rhubarb down, stir in some booze and spoon some over scones with a dollop of thick cream..... what do you think?  Alternatively, the raspberries that I am about to put into the freezer, and the strawbs I was saving for the chocolate fountain could be used just like yours????  MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Either sound good! ;D
Here is the recipe I based mine on, from one of my fave recipe sites!

http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/recipe_views/views/235525

Used Cointreau instead of the Grand Marnier cos thats all we had!

To make a substitute for buttermilk  :- 1 cup of milk, add 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice and leave at room temp for about 15 mins.

(or you can use 1 cup sour cream or yoghurt )

Enjoy! ;)
