Know what you mean, I've just put my week off back by a week in the hope week after next will be better.  I want to paint my front door & the lintels after changing windows & the back yard needs a strip & paint ( joke opportunity - I'm not going there) & visit some gardens that need a full day trip to get there & back.  No chance of that next week, fingers crossed for th eone after.
is it in the sale?

Yep, as soon as Wimbledon is over, the weather will improve.  ;D

Of course it will be better - we will ljust have a late summer - July might be dodgy but August sept will be great !

Gosh I hope it's better.

Touch wood, the garden and veg are fine at the mo, even managed several hours of work out there today.

But on Sunday we're off to Cornwall, got a pitch booked by the river near the beach for the caravan, booked it for five weeks in total.  I'm waiting for a phone call to tell me it's flooded :'(

After being in the middle of a damp field most of June I'm due to be working indoors for all of July so it's bound to be wall to wall sunshine and warmth  ::)

I start my maternity leave today so one of two things can happen:

best case - weather improves, I get to spend the next month sipping elderflower cordial soaking up the sunshine in my garden, occassionally doing a bit of pottering about, picking flowers and strawberries etc...!  :)

worst case - it is going to rain every day for the next 4 weeks and I end up getting divorced as I will spend the whole time following my DH round the house (he works from home) whining about being fat and bored!  :'(

know which one gets my vote!  ;D

Oh dear saddad, I hope not.  We're only just over the border in Staffordshire, so if you are unfortunate enough to get it, Keep it your side of the border, pleeeeese!!

Congratulations daisymay.  Hope its the first scenario!!
