Hello

I have a few sideshoots growing away on my cucumbers. Due to lack of space/squashing too much in, I would ideally like to grow them as a single cordon. Will that be OK?

Thanks

Certainly with all female varieties, that's the way to do it.

You don't say in or out or what type?

Indoors. I have several types. Ones I can remember off hand are Tiffany F1, Chinese Lemon, and Marketmore

Don't know. Some cukes produce most on the main stem.

Correction to my last - certainly the lowest 4-5 laterals should be removed, but then one system is to pinch out the sideshoots at 2 leaves beyond the first fruit. This is what I do on the all-females.

This year, I'm growing Mini Munch which seems to have a mind of its own!
