Another way of looking at plants .So Interesting and thanks for sharing
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

manicscousers

What do you do for lighting, Jo?

JoJoBean

kitten

Hey JoJo you're a natural, they are great pics  ;D

What course are you doing, my hubby loves photography and I'm trying to persuade him to do a course!

Keep em coming  ;)
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

JoJoBean

Thank you

It's just a City and guilds basic course in photography, it isn't as good as I thought it would be but I have learnt a lot about how to use the camera better.

carolinej

Hello Jojo,

Does your course include digital imaging? I did that course a few years ago.

cj :)

JoJoBean

yep it does.

All my coursework has to be handed in on Monday  :o I have so much left to do  :-[

carolinej

Good luck with tthe course work. Let us know how you get on.

WOW! they are great shots, I love close-ups of things so that they don't look like the object anymore.

You've got real talent there - keep it up :)

Pic #9 'Starburst' has my vote. Great depth of field in a macro.
(Any of those above pic's 'tweaked?)

Tin Shed

They are absolutely stunning, Jojo.

All of them are "tweaked" in some way. Only very slightly though, usually just to brighten them slightly. I don't like editing my pictures too much.

kenkew

#'s 2,3 and 10 I see nothing tweaked. Most of the othes, if 'tweaked' are very well done. Even on magnification there is a real 'pro' touch to your work. Good stuff, Jo-Jo....please give us all some more. ...and good luck on your course. (Me thinks you have an in-built talent there.)

JoJoBean

Thanks, but I have a feeling I will possibly fail the course, too much paper work and I've been ill so have fallen behind on it  :( Has to be handed in on Monday so guess what I'm spending my weekend doing  ;D

If the weather is nice though I'm pretty sure I'll find time to pop out with the camera, I usually do lol

kenkew

Eh! Come on. Everyone going into an exam thinks 'I'm going to fail.' Be a bit more positive! I know there is more to your course than what we have seen here, but if what you have shown us is anything to go by, well, I wish I had a few quid to bet on your success.
You have A4A on the edge of their seats. Let's know as soon as you do.
(Hit 'em with your aperture, hit them, hit them.)

Marymary

I don't know much about photography but I know what I like  :) & i think these are really beautiful.  Keep up the good work JoJo and as Ken says try and be a bit more positive - you can definately do it.  :)

PS Would love to see some more.

JoJoBean

I'm not worried about my pictures, they are all great. I'm just not sure if I'll be able to get all my paperwork done in time, if it's not all done I'll fail.

I'll post more pics at some point.
