HDRA membership

Have I understood this right...? If I become a member of HDRA, I can buy seeds from their heritage library? Are they really expensive or about the same as catalogue prices? Is there a lot of choice?

I'm thinking about it anyway!

Righty ho.

The HSL and HDRA are two different things although the HSL (heritage seed library) is at the HDRA HQ... If you join the HDRA, you get 10% off the organic gardening catalogue stuff. Being a member of the HDRA also gives you half price membership of the HSL. With your membership to the HSL, you get the seed catalogue of the HSL, and can request 6 packs of seeds though you can put 12 options down (things are done on first come first served). Also, you can tick the box for a mystery variety of seeds. Because the seeds HSL have are not listed in the national seeds list, I don't think they can be "sold" as such.

You are too late I think to get this years seeds (though you may be sent a mystery packet of seeds on joining - I got a packet when I joined in October). The seed list comes out late November/early December.

I was looking at it myself. It cost's £24 to join Hdra and £22 to join the seed library, if you are or become a member of hdra it is £11. There is also consessions for student's & unwaged etc.
