Elephant Garlic

Hello

I purchased 5 blubs from wilco's and planted them out about 2-3 weeks ago how long does it take to get going as there is nothing happening, They are in a car tyre.

Also would it be o.k to sow my spring onions in with garlic as i am running out of space??

They won't do much now; they really need autumn planting. You may get small bulbs, but without the cold weather they won't split into cloves.
