Plants for dangling!

I have a new raised pond with a wooden edge for sitting on.  At the back I would like to have some troughs or pots with plants in (maybe bedding but not necessarily) but wondered about anything drooping into the water.  Are there any plants that like to do this or would be ok doing this both from their point of view and the ponds?
