My Wilkos seeds - fruit, flowers, veg and herbs - have all shown a great germination rate. Think you've been very unlucky there.

By the way, if you want butternut squash seeds, I have more than I can shake a stick at, and quite a few cucs too, so feel free to PM me.

i was worried about getting idl's 19p seeds, all been fine so far and some are f1  :)

Vegemite

all my woolies seeds have been great, and my wilkos rocket is good too, but considering you only get ten each of the others and they were the most expensive you'd think they would take more care over them.

Amazin- that is so kind of you thankyou!

I have sent you a pm

Paying more (T+M) is still no guarantee that they will be sound...

Amazin

Nor is it a guarantee (knowing T & M) that they'll be what you ordered!

;D

Wilkinsons always seem ok to me.
I must admit that their selection of not just seeds but gardening stuff generally aint as good as last year.  :(
I love october time, you get some great bargains then

Robert_Brenchley

Their seeds did me OK last year, but I'm not so impressed with their plants. I don't really use them for anything except pots and similar bits and pieces.

I have to say that I've had more failures with T&M than with Wilkos.

I got a ruck of stuff from Alan Romans this year for the first time.  Some packets are a bit smaller then the main providers as you may expect (150 peas v 300+ in a T+M pack) but at a third of the price or better I'm quite pleased.  Had 100% germination with most seeds (sweetcorn, broadies etc) and lots of other stuff looks to be performing pretty well as well.  I'll deffo give it another try next year and the postage rates were really good (something like 80p postage for 10 packets through the post) Lance
Getting there - just rather slowly!!

Rosyred

I would of kept the bad ones and taken them back for another packet.

My Wilco seeds have had great germination rates, and the Lidl ones too...some of my T&M have not been as successful though...... :-\
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
