Oh Happy Day!

Just been down to see the plot manager and he's given me another plot!!!
It's smaller than the other one, been rotavated  >:( but it's mine, mine, mine!
Huge THANK YOU to Sarah, who called me this morning to come down and came with me to speak to lovely Arfur. Another THANK YOU to all of you who were so lovely, and inspired me to get potting up and made me much more positive about the whole thing. Am piffling on as am totally over excited, so will just say YAY! one more time.

i am so happy for you!! all your own with no strings wow i do believe things hapen for a reason (mothers teachings) tho it,s hard to see it at the time . mum used to say when a door closes a window opens and sometimes it taked years to see that it did.

Yep, feeling very good today it has to be said.
I went up to the old plot to salvage some more stuff, the artichokes my neighbour gave me, some strawbs even though they probably won't do much. Going tomorrow to transplant some lettuce and  the blackberry and raspberry canes. Picked some radishes today too which was nice.
My dad has nicked my bean canes! The bleeping bleep.
It was so easy, I still can't quite believe it. He said "Weeeelll, there's two" So i had a choice! I don't like the other side of the site that much though, bit crowded and not so good to take the kids down. Even though the one i chose is not the best short term choice, i think it's the best long term.

In a way it's quite nice as i think I'm more excited than i was when i got the first one!
Tiny twinge looking at everything coming up in the other...onions, spuds, radish, rocket, plum tree in blossom, woobob ( 5 year old pronunciation)
but the feeling of having my own plot, no strings is hugely liberating and kind of balances it out. A bit.  :-\
I'm very happy. I can't wait to get stuck in. Have chanced my arm on freecycle for a shed before i fork out for one or build it using old doors.
the committee would really love me then!  :o :o
