I grew some of these over winter in my unheated greenhouse and they seemed to have grown well, but have been rather neglected with the spring sowing madness! When I came to plant them out today (after hardening off) I found that most had one main stem which had fallen over and a few newer shoots. Could I pinch out the bigger shoot in the hope of getting  straighter, bushier plants?They also seem to be very weak where the shoots meet the roots.
