I think my courgettes are terminal :'( They are still quite small and all the leaves are turning brown. They have some flowers, but they get half open and then drop off. Should I be letting them grow flowers when they're still babies?? Or should I pull them off so the plants can concentrate on getting bigger. I'v e just put some new seeds in, in the hop of doing better this time. I desperately need your advice, and I'm not afraid to beg. Please help. Ta very much y'all.

I'll hold your hand till help arrives.
Oh, dear - enough to put you off your beakfast!

Quite small? =? Outside? When were they put out at what size? = Tim

Bless you Tim. They were put outside about 3 weeks ago, after I put them in lovely big pots, they were about 15cm high, maybe, and had about 4 true leaves and some flower buds. Was I too hasty, do you think?

I'm growing some more now. Maybe they'll work better.

OP

May have beena  little quick off the mark there.

Either way, lets face it - you end up with more than 2 courgette plants survivig and you're going to be eating ratatouille for the rest of the year  ;D

Still plenty of the year left, so no big problem.  Mine went a little like that last year when they got too much rain - could you have been overwatering?
