Two pieces of wood, 1" thick, 2" wide and 4" long. Put the fly in the middle of one piece and hit it with the other bit. If you want to operate it one handed to speed up killing capacity, fasten the wood together with a hinge. A small spring fixed into the base of the jaws stops the wood sticking together after the 99th squashy fly mess.

Bit of puff pastry and you could then make some Fly Cemeteries.
Earth fills her lap with treasures of her own.

Ken, I actually read that thru three times trying to get my non-technical brain to work out how it worked before I realised  ??? :-[ ::) Oh dear, maybe I've got it wrong again and you are serious  ??? ??? :-[ :-[
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

teehee.....brought back memories Ken.  When I was an ickle girl, many moons ago, and first discovered vine weevil grubs, my grandad made me a vine weevil killer!  Came in 2 parts, a disc of wood, onto which he had painted a wee vine weevil grub, and a second disc onto which he had attached a wooden handle, and onto which he had painted a squashed vine weevil!  Better than squishing them between your fingers! hehehehe.
