Is this miserable, cr*ppy weather ever going to end?

Seems that every other day is rain, rain and yet more rain, not to mention the wind that tends to come with it.

My soil is fairly well drained (mostly due to the slope of the garden), but even this is near saturated, and turns to mud if walked on let alone dug over.

To be honest i am fed up with it. Got lots to do but its demoralising having to squelch and slosh around the garden all the time.
