Garden Manager

Who here (either in the right tv region or who gets satelite TV) has seen the new series on allotments?

I havent yet but there was a feature in Amateur Gardening Mag last week, then i was browsing through the Sky Tv planner and found it, 6 am  Friday Discovery Home and leisure channel.  Set the Sky Plus to record it STRAIGHT AWAY ( ;D). Had a 'series link' on it too so shan't miss a programme from now on.

For those of you with the appropriate channel(s), it's either on  ITV west sundays at 5.40 pm, or Discovery Home and Leisure Fridays at 6.00 am.

Sorry to those in the wrong ITV region or who havent got SKY. This is one of those programmes that should be shown nationaly in my veiw.

Thanks Richard for the information. Like yourself I'll have to tape it as well. It will be nice to be able to watch it and maybe have a discussion about it as well.

thanks richard - don't fancy a 6am start so i think i'll video it!

rdak

yep, have been watching it on Sky (ITV South West I think) at 17:40 on a Sunday. If you have Sky, you can watch any ITV or BBC region by programming it in (I previously posted link to a site that shows how to do this)

I forgot to set recorder last week, thanks for the remidner for tomorrow, Richard!  I put a question on somehwere last weekend to find out if anyone had seen it but don't think there were any replies.

Thanks again Rcihard.

great programme, but it has made it clear to me that i'm gonna need a beard if i'm going to be any good at growing veg  ;D

Admin aka Dan

Have been watching it also, very enthusiastic presenters !

Hopefully there will be some good tips to pick up.

Just a little bit of trivia Re: the presenter jane moore. She used to work on Amateur gardening mag, and has now gone on to present a TV series. Just like a certain A. Titchmarsh  ;D

What about the "wigloo" - I really thought it was some sort of environmentally friendly "loo" he was building at first and wasn't impressed!

Did set video but was up anyway so watched it - before going back to bed with another cuppa - oooh retirement bliss......

If you forget to set your video on a Friday it is repeated on a Moday Morning at 6am

Garden Manager

Please dont say too much about the most  recent programme - I havent seen it yet!

Xanadu

Thanks MissBaritone for this information.

I`ve been following the programe with great interest, the chap who presents it makes everything seem so easy. Saw a very strange episode near the begining of the series when some young lad was stood on the roof of  his shed with a pumkin, not quite sure what that was all about!

So it's on 6 a.m. tomorrow - is the one on Monday at  6 a.m. a repeat?

d**n, blast, drat and another d**n. I forgot. AGAIN. Third week in a row now. I'll probably finally remember the week after it's finished.

I hope I'll remember on Sunday to set the timer...
gone to pot :D

Me too Aqui, think I get a mental block when it's something I've forgotten once already.  Think I'll put a sticky post=it on the tv top to remind me to set it on Sunday night, there probably is a way of setting it in advance and still taping as well but I won't risk it. Knot in hankie, knot in hankie - kinda hard to do in paper tissues.
