Out-of-use 6'x6' lap-fence - need log store for new stove - so easy?

Forgot the age-old teaching of minimum slope for roof tiles.

Leaks like a sieve. Hooray!!

Cover it with black plastic, and roofing felt over the top of that. It'll be OK.

MrsKP

do a thatched roof thing on top of the plastic

Hyacinth

so stretch the plastic & roofing felt under the fencing? 8)

tim

Yes, Lishka - stretch? But how!!

KP - you're going to climb up there??

MrsKP

take roof off
stretch plastic/roofing felt on inside, fix with staple gun
get bale of straw (or whatever they thatch roofs with)
fix in place with rustic twine
replace roof

I should have had a Blue Peter badge

:P or....how about getting some corrugated plastic sheeting and fixing it below the panel...then a bit of guttering and hey presto....another full water butt! if you already haven't got enough :)

I can't help but giggle Tim! Consider it a great learning experience passed on to others. ;) (hey, I wouldn't have thought of the slope)

Tina.

Mine would probably have developed a lean, (the wrong way) time lady.
I'd be worried that it would take off in a high wind Tim.... not much weight in those panels...
