Can anyone give me the lowdown of the official stand on composting toilets.  What is legal and what isn't?  What do you do on your site when you want to spend a penny (or 2)?  How is the waste disposed of?  Is there anywhere i can find guidelines?

thanks in advance

They were very helpful when we set up our reed bed loo & shower block at our climbing hut well away from any services in Snowdonia.
is it in the sale?

these are very good, they have a leaflet, I think, about composting toilets, hope you find what you're after  :)

We are on the Mains! and Proper sewers.... Have just had to pay a plumber £80 to replace and repair the damage done by thieves who broke in for the copper pipe last week.... they also rolled a dozen sheds!

When I need to spend a penny, I nip into my shed, pee in a bucket and tip the contents on my compost heap!  To much information?  Well you did ask!  ;D

EJ,
I am like you, no compost heap yet so outside the shed door have snakes down our lottie so hope the smell will stop them from getting into shed.
Also good for getting rid of moles.
