I had my plot rotovated last week, 2 days ago I noticed that something had been digging a hole in the middle of the plot. Yesterday it was a proper tunnel so I dug it up - it was filled woth grass & straw - I assume it was a rabbit. I filled it in (after checking it was empty)

pretty stupid digging right in the open don't you think ?

Probably thought it was saving itself a lot of hard work digging after the rotovater had been in!!!!  ::)Maybe it picked the middle in the hope you wouldn't notice and plant lots and lots of lovely veggies for it to scoff.  ;D ;D ;D

Apparently, rabbits digs burrow like this and line the burrow with nesting material and then have their young.  They then leave their young underground until big enough to leave.  Everytime the Doe leaves the burrow she backfills the hole and leaves the bunnies underground.

Does that make sense???

::) :o
