Supposed to be Early Nantes, KP.

That's after 3 other sowings failed - & they are bone dry in a raised bed with compost that just will not hold water.

my EN were grown in the bath, sown intensively and regularly drenched.  i love and cherish my hose as i know i'm lucky !  First sowing has now been eaten.  Second will be hit next week.  Autumn Kings are fairing well also.

There is definitely something to be said for living on the rainy west coast, especially during a heatwave.

Ta-da!  And, finally, my Early Nantes are just as good as Tim's too - fact he might have snuck along to my garden in the night, scrumped them and claimed them as his own ;D And just when I was thinking they were a total failure 8)

All my early sowings failed but have some baby carrots ready in a raised bed and put 4 rows of Danvers out last week, and have two tubs of EN through..
think I'll sneak a couple of rows of AK in this week...
