WELL, THERE I WAS ....

Thinking everyone else had eventful lives and then what happens.  Yesterday, was going out in the evening to ex-boss's 50th birthday celebs, first outing at night in a year!  Okay, decided to go to Tesco's, do a bit of shopping, quite normal really.

Got back to car, loaded shopping, got in and - great big nothing!  Would it start, new battery an all?  No!  Went back in to ask for free RAC service only to find had to wait for 90 mins!  Would I have time to put my slap on!  Hardly!

Did I have my mobile with me?  No!  Even if I had, did I have my address book with me?  No!  (Is inefficient, not all requisite nos in phone!).  Poor girl who was giving me a lift would be ringing me at home in vain and I would miss party!

God works in mysterious ways.  Said girl arrived in Tesco's and saw me waiting!  Spooky or what?

Was mortified!  Was new battery!  Connections were still dirty!  Bad housework or what?

However, evening great success and got my own leaving party to look forward to soon, so all well that ends well.  

Lesson : put all numbers in mobile and, do what sposed to do with it, take it with me!   ;D ;D ;D
