do you pinch off the tops of chilli plants.....?

......I mine are about 6/7 inches tall with the same number of pairs of true leaves, but they show no sign of bushing out.   I wanted to know before i take a tray to the school fete tommorrow for them to sell.

[Two Choices]

Pakaba, I've never picked the tops out and they always seem to bush out fine. Of the ten in my greenhouse (about 9 inches tall) there are two which compared to the others are on the spindly side.
